노래 가사에 이런 구절이 있습니다.

여기서 Mother Mary는 대부분 수녀라고 하는데,
사실 수녀(성모)가 아니라 폴 매카트니의 어머니를 말합니다.

폴 매카트니(Paul McCartney)가 이 곡을 만들 때 꿈에 어머니 '매리(Mary)'가 나타나서
'내버려둬' 라는 말을 했다는 것에서 Let it be가 탄생합니다.

Let it be는 비틀즈 정규앨범으로는 최후(?)의 앨범으로서 1970년 발매되었습니다.
그러나 비틀즈는 팀의 불화로 해체되고, 맴버들은 각자 솔로 활동을 하게 되죠.  

그냥 내버려두는 것이 현명한 답이 될 수 있습니다.
